What payment types are accepted by the Alaska Sales Tax Portal?
The Portal accepts E-Check (ACH Debit), credit card and ACH Credit payments.ACH Credit payments are allowed only through an approval process. To request this payment method, please email AMSTP@AKML.org.
What is the credit card refund policy?
Refund Policy: (as required by MC & Visa) It is our standard policy not to issue refunds. For any payment inquiries and or discrepancies, please email us at AMSTP@AKML.org for fastest service.


How do I amend a return?
Please locate the 'Amend Tax Form(s)' button at the bottom of your business center at the top of the 'Your Remittance Account(s)' section. This will bring you to the Amended Returns page where you can begin a new amendment or check the status of a prior amendment submitted for review.
I need to close my account. What do I do?
Please e-mail the Commission at: AMSTP@AKML.org including the closure date, account number, and reason you need to close the account.
I forgot my password. What do I do?


From the Log In page, click the “Forgot your password” link and follow the instructions that will be e-mailed to the User’s registered e-mail address.
Do I have to login to my Business Center to see my alerts and reminders?
No. All alerts are e-mailed to your authenticated e-mail address.
